Ahaha. You chose a car I am very familiar with. I've worked with a few, though not all of them gullwings.

Shit!!! That's awesome. I still want to know how you got your hands on those BBSs, the 14"ers.

These ones?

Kinja'd!!!

The specs on these monsters were:

Fronts: 15x10"

Rears: 15x14"

I never figured out the offset but the fronts had a 6.5" backspacing and the rears had a 5.5" backspacing.

These are a set of e71s that apparently were on an Indy Light car for a while. One of the front wheels was sitting in the corner of the wash bay for months so I finally decided to ask about them. It turns out that one of the mechanic's dad's friend used to own them, and gave them to the mechanic's dad, who had no use for them and gave them to the mechanic. The mechanic didn't have any use for them either, and had no idea what they were worth, so he put three of them in a storage container and left one out for some reason thats escaping me right now. After asking a bunch of people, I found out who they belonged to and he gave me a price. $100. Otherwise he would've just scrapped them for beer money (WTF???). I went to the bank during lunch and took them home that afternoon with absolutely no idea what I was going to do with them, but our raceshop had done a few 2002 race cars and one of them had a center lock conversion, so I was considering doing that and rebarelling the wheels so they weren't quote so massive. They'd also make a pretty kick ass coffee table (like the ones below). Eventually I decided to call BBS North America and try to figure out what I had even purchased. Turns out I had struck magnesium gold. The mechanic still doesn't know what I sold them for. I feel like he would be pissed at himself if he did.
